Our family history in the North East Scotland hospitality industry goes back two generations, and we know how to create the perfect atmosphere and experience for any social occasion.
I grew up in the hospitality business. This served me very well as I moved abroad to gain a wealth of international experience, and when the opportunity to reimagine and revive The Albyn came up, it was the perfect chance to move back to Aberdeen with my young family to work on something new and exciting.

We're proud of this region and what it has to offer — and that includes the great food and drink produced here.
Our chef works with respected, local suppliers in the North-East, using only the best quality ingredients. Our delicious bread is baked in-house by our talented pastry Chef. The bar is stocked with an array of Scottish spirits — from malt whiskies, to premium rums and gins — and local beers feature extensively, from breweries like Brew Toon and Fierce. For dessert, our ice cream is supplied by Simpson's of Buckie — and comes highly recommended.

The Bieldside Inn
In 2022, we were very proud to reconnect at long last with a venue that the Cruickshank family have many fond memories in — The Bieldside Inn.
Simon Cruickshank's father Simon Snr. owned and operated "The Bielder" from 1989 to 2003 — so this acquisition holds extra significance for all involved.
Our beautifully refurbished restaurant, offers a relaxed dining experience for all of the family, with our popular kids menu for the little ones.
If you are looking to host a small event, our function room is the perfect place, complete with it's own private bar!
The Cults Hotel
In Autumn of 2023, we were delighted to welcome local favourite, The Cults Hotel, to the family.
The Cults Hotel boasts a beautiful conservatory space - the perfect spot for lunch with all the family. If you are looking for a cosy spot to catch up with friends, why not enjoy a pint in our pub? If you are planning an event, we are proud to offer not one, but two function spaces!
